Apply data mining and advanced analytic techniques to develop, enhance, and/or execute approaches to analyze information relating to customer activity, including e.g., segment-based analyses, migration analyses (movement of customers between segments), analyzing customer surveys and other feedback mechanisms. Extract/oversee the extraction of data from various databases; perform exploratory data analysis and visualization; cleanse, massage, and aggregate data as necessary to support the analysis. Perform/oversee the development of models and data/analytical work products. Design tests or experiments in order to determine the optimal approach for a particular microsegment. Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and other business partners to identify business issues and devise analytical solutions. Develop metrics and/or dashboards to evaluate the success of campaigns or other initiatives. Must have experience with the following predictive models/analytical techniques and tools Data mining and advanced analytics data and analytical models/algorithms/techniques; Generalized linear models, including logistic regression; Machine learning techniques decision trees, random forests, gradient boosted machines, support vector machines; Test design and/or campaign analytics, digital marketing analytics, or media analytics/media-mix optimization including Optimizely, ExactTarget, Google Analytics, data management platforms. The following business skills are required to effectively partner with business stakeholders Experience supporting marketing for a consumer business; Interface with business partners to quickly understand needs; Communicate technical concepts and results, detailed model output, trends and statistics to a non-technical audience including preparing executive-level reporting and presentations distill complex analytical techniques and results into actionable insights and articulate the implications for business decisions and outcomes; and Project management ability to manage projects to successful completion.
Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative field, and at least five (5) years of experience as an Analyst or related occupation.
