Help coordinate top-notch partnership events You will own the logistics of our partnership marketing events, coordinating invitations, guest lists and venue requirements before the big day, and invoices, payments and financial reports afterward.
Strategize This position is about more than event planning. You will actively contribute to the strategic and creative decisions that go into bringing every event to life. You will also be encouraged to contribute to the strategic vision of the Department, by helping evaluate potential sponsorships and partnerships that best complement our brand.
Problem-solve Whether that means having fierce organizational skills to help you anticipate problems before they occur or being on the ground day-of to help address any last-minute surprises, you ll help us ensure our guests have a great experience without any hiccups.
Effectively Communicate There are a lot of moving pieces (and people) when it comes to event-planning. You will be one of the nodes that holds this web together, helping the marketing team spread the word before an event and acting as the point person for vendors and venues before, during and after the event.
What you should bring
1-2 years of experience in marketing, event planning and/or public relations
A critical and analytical mindset, who appreciates that the devil is in the details (especially when it comes to event-planning!)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
A passion for planning but also an eagerness to travel and be on the ground the day-of
A strong command of Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel; familiarity with social media is a plus
